Valentine's Treat Recipe

Cinnamon Popcorn
Ingredients:
3 bags Natural flavor Microwave Popcorn
1 stick Margarine
1/4 C Light Corn Syrup
1/2 pack Red Cinnamon Candies

Directions:
After popping the 3 bags of popcorn make sure to sift out kernels.  Then in a saucepan, combine the Margarine, Corn Syrup, & Cinnamon Candies.  Bring to a boil, stirring, & boil for 5 minutes.  Pour over popped popcorn & mix well.  Pour popcorn mixture into greased roasting pan & bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.  Cool completely & break apart.
Then put into a cute container to give to your Valentine.
Let me warn you that it's addicting so you might as well make yourself a batch!
Enjoy!
Erica

  1. Oh yum! When I was a child, my grandmother used to keep cinnamon candies in a bowl all of the time. I used to sneak them when nobody was watching. I know that I would really enjoy this! Thanks for linking up on Recipes I Can't Wait to Try!

  4. THANK YOU! This sounds like a super easy recipe and this is my absolute favorite flavor of popcorn. I seriously built babies out of this kind of popcorn. It was a major crave with each pregnancy!(sigh) But now we live where there are no shops that sell cinnamon corn...

    I'll try it this weekend!

Hey... how much is "1/2 a package"? My WM sells the candies in tubs...

    Sweet blog!

Go Chick Flicks! (Since all the boys are going to a super bowl party...)
