Friday's Fabulous Finds {for boys} Birthday Edition

I don't know why but recently I've had birthday parties on my mind.  My baby turns one in July so that's not too far away but my other boy turns 3 in September so I definately have some time with that one.  I've come across some really neat boy themed birthday party ideas that I thought I'd share.

Thomas the Train cake from Wentzell's Creative Designs.

She also made this awesome Bob the Builder Cake.

To top it off she made these adorable tool crayons and packaged them up as party favors.

Buzz Wings from It's All About Ty & Ashlee.
Lately the 2 year old can not watch Toy Story 3 enough.  I seriously think we watch it 3 times a day sometimes!

Doctor Birthday from Ellzabelle.

Truck Cake from What I Live For.

Elmo cupcakes from Lisa Joy.
These actually look very similar to what we had for my older son's 2nd birthday.  I love how she used marshmallows for the eyes- so clever!

I'd love for you to share your boy birthday ideas! Just leave a link in the comment section.

  3. Cute ideas. I love the Bob the Builder cake. We did a Sesame Street theme for my oldest daughter's 3rd birthday, and I made cupcakes similar to the Elmo ones and also did Cookie Monster and Oscar. I used white candy melts for the eyes. They were a lot of work but lots of fun. We gave away an Elmo shaped crayon and an Ernie chocolate lollipop as favors. They were a big hit.

  5. That's funny that you posted this recently. I just posted about our son's 2nd birthday Train Cake. You can check it out here: http://growthchartmoments.blogspot.com/2011/04/train-cake.html

Thomas and Bob would have been equally as awesome to Jack. He's a huge fan. :)
